Plain-language terms for the build service. Version 1.0 · August 2026.
It starts with a free fit check — no payment, no commitment. From that we give you one of three answers:
Once you're booked, we build inside your accounts, prove every criterion against your live system, and hand it over. A five-day window follows for you to confirm it does what we agreed.
We build with scoped, least-privilege access and never take a password — you run any privileged commands yourself. The source lives in your repository from day one. If access stalls, the clock pauses and the end date moves by the delay, at no penalty to either side. The full detail is in our Access Protocol.
The agreed criteria are the definition of done and the definition of paid. At handoff, each ships with its proof against your live system. You get one clarification round and a five-day window to confirm. Anything beyond the agreed criteria is a new unit — stated up front, so it is never a mid-build surprise.
| Where we stop | What happens |
|---|---|
| Fit check: not a fit, or not worth building | No charge — the fit check is free |
| Fit check: it needs more than one unit | Re-quoted at N × published price; you decide before paying anything |
| Paid, but access can't be granted before build starts | Full refund |
| Access stalls mid-build | Clock pauses, no penalty either side; we resume when it clears |
| Built, but a criterion fails its proof | We fix it within the unit until it passes — or refund that unit if it proves un-buildable as scoped |
| You want more than the agreed five criteria | A new unit — not a refund, and stated up front |
You walk away with the working capability, all source and configuration in your repo, a runbook, a Recovery Sheet, and proof it passes every criterion. We do not run, host, monitor, or maintain it, and we don't take over systems we didn't build. That is the point of the service: something running, that you own, that keeps working without us — yours to run or switch off.
Fees are fixed at $7,000 per unit and paid once the fit check confirms scope. Sprints are capacity-gated — a confirmed fit books a slot rather than starting the clock immediately. We'll tell you the start date when you book.
A Sprint is a build, not a managed service or a retainer. We're not your ongoing IT, and we don't provide legal or security certification. Where a build touches regulated or high-risk areas, take the delivered capability to the right professional for review.
